Jackalope Days is a long-standing Douglas tradition that brings the community together for a weekend of fun, celebration, and hometown pride in honor of National Jackalope Day (the second Saturday of June).
🎉 Weekend Highlights Include:
🗓 Thursday, June 11 – Park It at the Museum
➡️Kick off Jackalope Days at the Douglas Railroad Museum with the Park It! Food Truck Fest & Vendor Fair. Vendors register online at Park It Event
➡️Converse County Library Summer Reading Kickoff, 4-6 pm at the Library. The Summer Reading Kickoff is a fun community event to encourage people to sign up for the library’s Summer Reading Program. We will have games, face painting, treats, and other family-friendly activities. The event is open to all ages and is meant to bring the community together while promoting reading and library participation.
➡️Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy for 21+ at the LB Bar. Limited seating available for a night of eery stories, cocktails and a fun speakeasy experience. Tickets HERE Starting at 6 pm.
🗓 Friday, June 12 – Railroad Day
➡️Kick off Jackalope Days at the Douglas Railroad Museum with Railroad Day, 10 am- 4 pm, featuring family-friendly activities, free lunch, train tours, live music, a Kids Market, and Arts in the Park. Register HERE to be a Railroad Day vendor.

🗓 Saturday, June 13 – National Jackalope Day
➡️Ride Row & Run by OECC online registration starts May 1st. Race starts at WSF, 7 am. For more information, CLICK HERE.
➡️ Pancake Breakfast at the Moose Lodge 7:30 am-10 am.
➡️Celebrate in the heart of downtown with the Jackalope Days Vendor Fair in Jackalope Square 9 am-2 pm. Vendors can register online through this link: Jackalope Day Vendor Fair 2026
➡️Live Music in Jackalope Square 10 am-1 pm
➡️Live Music at LaBonte 9-11 am Jordan Hoff and 12-2 pm The David Tyler Band
➡️Knight Kruisers Car Show downtown Douglas. Online Registration Open!
➡️LPHS Low Rider Dog Races & Calcutta 4 pm on Walnut Street (by the LB)
➡️Jackalope Days Street Dance hosted by LaBonte Hotel & Bar 7-10 pm with live music by The Man in Tan
🗓 Sunday, June 14 – Community Celebration Finale
➡️Wrap up the weekend with the Douglas Community Awards at 5 pm, held during the Memorial Hospital of Converse County Annual Block Party from 4-6 pm.
➡️Community Awards announced at 6 pm during the Block Party
